What this site collects

One thing: the email address you type into the beta form, and which page you typed it on. Nothing else — no name, no phone number, no payment details, and no account.

Why

To send you a TestFlight invite for the OFC Poker iOS beta, and to tell you when there's a new build. That's the only use. The page you signed up from tells us which guides bring in beta testers, which is how we decide what to write next.

Where it's stored

On our own server (a Postgres database hosted in the EU), not in a third-party marketing platform. The invite emails are sent through Resend, which processes the address in order to deliver the message.

It is never sold, never shared and never passed to an advertising network.

How to get it deleted

Reply to any email we send you and say so, or write to hello@ofc-poker.app. The row is deleted, not flagged. You don't have to give a reason and you won't get a retention offer.

Analytics

We use DataFast, which is cookieless: it counts page views and beta signups in aggregate and does not set a cookie, build a profile or track you across other sites. Because there is no cookie and no personal data stored, there is no consent banner — there's nothing to consent to.

Cookies

This website sets none. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no session cookies. If your browser shows a cookie from this domain, something is wrong and we'd like to hear about it.

The app

The OFC Poker app plays without an account. Your progress lives on your phone, and a copy is kept on our server so you don't lose it — tied to a random identifier created when you install the game, not to you.

That copy holds what the game needs: the name and avatar you pick, your coins, trophies, level and match record, and the matches themselves. None of it identifies you unless you add an email yourself.

If you give us your email

You only need to in Settings, to move your progress to another phone. It's used for one thing: sending a six-digit login code. It is never used for marketing, never sold, and never shared — the beta list on this website is a separate thing that you opt into separately.

Purchases

Coins and “No Ads” are sold by Apple on iPhone and by Google Play on Android, not by us. We never see your card details, your name, your Apple ID or your Google account — the store handles the payment and gives us a proof of purchase, which our server checks with Apple or Google. From it we store the transaction identifier, which product it was, and whether it was a real or a test purchase, so the same purchase is never credited twice and so a refund can take back what it should.

Ads

The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects device and usage data in order to serve and measure them.

We ask Google for non-personalised ads, which means they're chosen from the context rather than from a profile about you. The app does not ask to track you across other companies' apps and websites. On Android, Google's ad SDK reads the device's advertising ID, as it does in any app with AdMob ads; you can reset or delete it in your phone's settings. In Europe you'll be shown Google's consent form the first time you open the game, and what you choose there is respected.

Notifications

Notifications are off until you allow them, and your phone asks you first. Two kinds come from inside the app and never touch our server: the daily reminder to collect your comeback reward (you can switch it off in Settings) and the “your ranked entry is ready” alert you ask for yourself. Both are scheduled on your phone.

If you allow notifications, Apple (on iPhone) or Google (on Android) gives the app a push token — an address for your phone that only works for this app — and we keep it on our server with your device, together with the language the game is in. We use it to tell you about things in the game: a friend's challenge, a new mission, an event or a gift. Each message is sent in your language, and we keep a record of which messages were sent to you and whether they arrived. Messages go out through Apple's push service on iPhone and Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google's push service, on Android; no other notification platform is involved, and the token is never used for ads.

To stop them, turn notifications off for OFC Poker in your phone's settings. When Apple or Google tells us a token no longer works, we delete it. Deleting your account deletes the token and the send record too.

What we measure

Matches played, sessions, and in-game events like finishing the tutorial or claiming a mission. It goes to our own server, in the EU. There is no third-party analytics SDK in the app — no Firebase Analytics, no Facebook, nothing that follows you elsewhere. (On Android, Firebase is there only to deliver notifications.)

Deleting everything

Settings → Your account → Delete account. It deletes your account and everything attached to it: the email, your devices and their push tokens, your balances and history, your missions, the notifications we sent you and your purchase records. Matches stay, with no owner, so the game's averages don't get rewritten — a match with nobody attached doesn't identify anyone.

There's no form to fill in and nothing to ask us for. It happens from inside the app and it can't be undone.

Children

The game is not aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.

Your rights

If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, export or delete what we hold, and to object to processing. Exercising any of those takes one message to hello@ofc-poker.app, and deleting your account from the app covers the last one by itself. The legal basis for the beta list and for push notifications is your consent, which you withdraw whenever you like (unsubscribe, or turn notifications off); for your game progress and purchases it is providing the game you asked for.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, we'll say so in the app and the people on the beta list get told by email. Otherwise the date at the top moves.
